We are looking for a Systems Engineer. The engineer will be tasked to define subsystem level requirements, based on higher level mission requirements, as well as define the lower unit and component level requirements. Additional tasks will be to conduct architecture and heritage reviews.

This is a nine month task, the selected candidate should be able to start immediately and the task will end in January of 2022

Perform Software Systems Engineering, Senior duties in support of customer requirements.

Coordinate system development tasks such as requirements definition, design, development, integration, and formal testing. Establish SW configuration management practices and process for evaluating/prioritizing bug fixes/new capabilities. Oversee all transitions into production, e.g. design reviews, and test-readiness and deployment reviews. Prepare documentation describing the requirements, design, test, and release descriptions. Conduct trade studies, and perform analyses and assessments.

Mandatory Skills
• Proficient in defining power subsystem requirements, and requirement decomposition to lower level units and components
• Proficient in power electronics (or electrical engineering background)
• Experience with solar powered space vehicle power subsystems
• Preferred >5 years experience
